Eurovision 1984 gives the win from Sweden Diggi-loo, Diggi-ley Herreys
The fourth and final event of the National Television Luxembourg (RTL) was in "NOUVEAU THEATRE" which was hosted and the contest of 1973. Since, however, was no longer so «Nouveau» (new), was renamed "THEATRE MUNICIPAL", namely the Municipal Theater. H was the youngest presenter in the competition, only 19 years. In 1984 we were back in Ireland, but Israel again as in 1980 there took place after the Passover fell on 5 May. The Greece abstained as 1982. Nineteen countries competed in Luxembourg for the first place and should be noted that the vote was exciting this year! This year we have more grade difference penultimate and last country (25 points). At first fought victory for Denmark, Spain and Ireland. The record appeared in Sweden and lit the battle between Sweden and Denmark! In the end, however, Sweden experienced only Ireland who finished in second place with 137 points. The HERREY'S won but only a few months after the competition had already forgotten. The second victory of Sweden was not the scope of ABBA.
