Eurovision 1976 was a ESC year with many comebacks
The victory of "TEACH-IN" brought the ESC in 1976 for the third time in the Netherlands. After HILVERSUM (1958) and Amsterdam (1970), the Dutch TV (NOS) organized a competition in The Hague. This time, Malta and Turkey have registered. The pressures of left-wing nomenklatura continued to Swedish television and forced to withdraw from the contest of 1976. Greece is back, and the application of Liechtenstein refused to take part of the EBU since the small principality had its own TV and therefore was not even a member of EBU. For the first time the contest and won last symmtechousa Eurovision.
