Raphael Gualazzi will represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011

Raphael Gualazzi the winner of San Remo will sing the song Follia d'amore. Gualazii won the juries' confidence as well as the tele voting of the 61st San Remo Festival.

Gualazzi Raphael was born in Urbino on 11 November 1981. After he began studying piano at the Conservatorio Rossini in Pesaro, where he started learning the classical authors, is expanding its music research in the field of Jazz, Blues and Fusion, collaborating with leading artists in the industry and is distinguished by the its peculiar quality vocal and instrumental.


His music comes from a combination of technical Rag-time of the early 90 with the lyricism of the blues, soul and jazz in its most traditional.
