Harel Skaat will sing for Israel at Eurovision 2010

Harel Skaat will perform at Kdam Eurovision show and the song will be selected for Israel Eurovision 2010.

The Israeli public broadcaster IBA has confirmed that the representative at Eurovision 2010 will be Harel Skaat. The song that Harel will perform in Oslo will be selected out of four through the show Kdam Eurovision.

Harel Skaat (הראל סקעת) born August 8, 1981, in Kfar Sava, Israel is a singer of Yemenite Jewish descent who quickly rose to fame as the runner-up of the second season of “Kokhav Nolad” ("A Star is Born", an American Idol-like series show) in 2004.

Skaat's singing talents garnered attention from an early age. When he was 6 he won a children's singing competition in his hometown and also appeared in an episode of a popular Israeli television show called "Parpar Nechmad". After serving a mandatory stint in the army, he attended Beit Zvi, a college specializing in the performing arts. Is the Israeli representive at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
